So there is no way for Cleveland to legitimately win and for Orlando to legitimately lose

It'll be the refs orchestrating everything?

If we happen to win tonight, or God willing, win the series, it's because of your assessment on how we got Lebron in the position to win it. That shite appears to be working. A little luck on O-town Magicians missing those lucky 3's late in the 4th and we can do dis.

yes, lebron gets an ungodly amount of calls, a lot of which are on ticky-tack to no contact whatsoever.

despite this, losing to 1 guy on your home court is still inexcusiable.

LeBron is so strong the regular fouls look ticky tack. He gets to the line so much because he's unstoppable when he attacks the basket.

LeBron set to Break 10 NBA Free Throw Playoff Records in 1 Season

LeBron James, may just be the Wilt Chamberlain of free throws.

James, who has already broken three NBA Playoff Free Throw Records this season, is on pace to break at least seven more, for a possible total of ten Free Throw Records -– something that has never been seen since the inception of free throws in 1947 -- records that took years for Dwyane Wade (2006), Shaquille O’Neal (2000), and Michael Jordan (1989) to accumulate individually, LeBron James is set to break all by himself in one single post-season -- these 2009 Playoffs.

James’ 16.6 FTA against the Magic is currently the record for most Free Throws Attempted against an individual series, out-pacing Dwayne Wade’s infamous record of 16.2 FTA against the Dallas Mavericks in the 2006 Finals.

James’ 14.5 FTA is currently the Record for most Free Throws Attempted in the post-season, out-pacing Michael Jordan at 13.5 FTA.

James’ 11.2 FTA Career per game is currently an NBA Playoff Record tied with Shaquille O’Neal.

James’ 188 Total FTA in 13 games played is the most FTA ever attempted in a 13 game stretch. To gauge the sheer concept of this record – Kobe Bryant last year attempted a league-leading 194 FTA in 21 games. James’ has already accumulated 188 FTA in playing only 13 games – that's 8 games less than Bryant. By the time, LeBron plays his 14th game, he would have already supplanted the previous high of last season's Playoffs by less than 7 games.

James currently is also on pace on breaking records for the fastest player to reach highs of FTA - records currently held by Michael Jordan and Shaquille O’Neal. James, by the way, has already broken two of those records.

James is also the only player to currently have a chance of reaching 300 FTA in the Playoffs, something that has never ever been done in the NBA.

Records already broken by James this post-season:

- Most Career Playoff FTA Average (11.2 FTA per game - tied with Shaquille O’Neal)

- Fastest to 100 FTA (8 games)

- Fastest to 150 FTA (11 games)

Records James is on pace of breaking this post-season:

- Most FTA in the Playoffs - Leader: Shaquille O’Neal (296 FTA in 23 games) – LeBron James this season total and counting (188 FTA in 13 games -- on pace to break it in 20 games)

- Most FTA against a Playoff series – Leader: Dwyane Wade (16.2 FTA) – LeBron James this season currently (16.6 FTA)

- Highest FTA per game in the Playoffs – Leader: Michael Jordan (13.5 FTA) – Lebron James this season currently (14.5 FTA per game)

- Fastest to 200 FTA – Leader: Michael Jordan (15 games) – LeBron James this season pace (14 games)

- Fastest to 250 FTA – Leader: Shaquille O’Neal (20 games) – LeBron James this season pace (18 games)

- Fastest to 300 FTA – Leader: vacant – LeBron James this season pace (21 games)

- Only NBA player to reach 300 FTA

The one truly remarkable aspect about all this record breaking stat, is that James is set to break all these records in just one post-season.

That in itself is a Record.

This is true. A lot that look ticky tack show that he got mugged when you slow it down. But he's so strong, he doesn't flinch like a normal human being would. Now, I will admit that he does get some calls that aren't warranted, but I think he gets fouled a lot and it doesn't get called. It all evens out imho.

I love this conspiracy talk that the refs are dictating the playoffs. Denver goes to the line more but they wanted the Lakers to win it. If the refs really wanted the Lakers to win it, Denver would not go to the line more. Sure there are other calls they can make to hurt a team but refs are not going to give out so many fouls if they wanted the Lakers to win. Lebron goes to the line a lot as well. Orlando has just been beating them everywhere else. The best two will make it.

You haven't really come out and said what your point is. Are you a conspiracy theorist or do you think Lebron is just legitimately getting fouled more than anybody in playoff history? Because someone has to be.

Well, Orlando has already proved they are the better team, and while I believe the idea of the refs being paid off is ridiculous, it would take a pretty big meltdown for them to lose the series at this point.

people keep saying this, but there is only a 2 point differential between the two teams over 5 games. there were three games that were basically a coin flip at the end. orlando just had the benefit of winning two of the extremely close games while cleveland won one.

Boy, Howard getting his sixth technical rescinded by the NBA really throws a monkey wrench in the whole conspiracy theory doesn't it?

Yes, Lebron gets a lot of calls. Yes, some of them are b.s. And yes, if you are the better team and cannot beat one player on your home floor in a closeout game then.....

I agree with this somewhat. I just think he gets way to many calls where he drives to the basket and the defender has his hands up, Lebron drives straight into them initiating the contact and gets the calls all the time. The refs some times make it impossible to play defense even attempt to contest his drives.
