starting their aces against each other?

They should. Falling into the losers bracket the first day is to be avoided.

The term ace is thrown around too loosely.

I don't care...just an observation. Interested to see the 2009 version of the postseason ragarm brigade.

probably. Doesn't matter. Neither team is a serious threat to the Tigers

Yeah but this is baseball, anything can happen. I know we usually step it up in the postseason, but again, anything can happen.

That's just really not a smart statement.
A hot pitcher can shut down LSU (or anyone else) on any day....no matter what LSU pitchers do.

Is a Gopher the same as a Groundhog?

I know a lot about the other teams in the BR regional and no one in the tourney is a threat for the tigers. The Tigers may lose but only because they beat themselves.
This is possibly the easiest regional in the tourney

Yeah, I'm sure you've seen Minn & Baylor play a bunch this year.
Even if the other 3 team were Southern, ULL & Tulane, saying that none is a threat to LSU is just wrong.....and frankly, stupid.
Will LSU lose? Probably not. But all you have to do is look at what Fresno St did last year to realize how ridiculous it is to say that any team is zero threat.

I feel ya Billy Ray, I do.
Yeah, I've actually seen Baylor play 6 or so times and got video of Minnesota for 4 games. So I have an idea.
Again, none of these teams can stay on the field with LSU. If LSU loses it's because they beat themselves. They arent going to lose playing there best ball.
My statement is accurate. The biggest threat to LSU in this regional is LSU

If we played our best ball every game, we'd be undefeated.

+1 While I don't expect any of the teams to lay down, Baylor and Minnesota just don't have the arms of an SEC tournament caliber team.
