Here is the deal with Dish. Depending on where you live, you may or may not get the Fox Sports channel carrying it. For instance, I live in New Orleans, and for some f'd up reason, we get Fox Sports Southwest. Great - so I can the goddamn Longhorns play.
If you have either channel 420 or 422, you are good. If you don't, and you get 417 like me, you are screwed.
However, you can sign up for the Multi Sports pack and get every single Fox Sports channel available. For 5.99 a month. If you want to cancel, it is a $5 downgrade fee.
So, you can carry the package during basketball and baseball season so as not to miss any games, and ditch it during football season and the offseason.
