I am going to Dallas next month and my boss said she wanted to eat at a good Tex Mex place. I will be staying downtown(Hyatt Regency), any suggestions?

+1....not Mia Concina's....Mia's!

Avila's

Very good but not sure I'd call it Texmex....more mex mex maybe.

Add Desperados and Mariano's for Old School Dallas texmex. And Chuy's is good...anything with the Hatch Chili sauce...which is more southwestern....

I think Mia's is on Lemmon... not too far from downtown.

On Lemmon at Wycliff next to Bob's, which if you want steak, thats the place.....very pricey but good. A lot of pro jocks hang out there....and an amateur owner named Jerry something...

And expect a wait at Mia's. Not much room in the little bar and you'll have to stand while you wait. It ain't a "coddle me" type of place.

Meh. Bob's barely makes my top 5 for steak.
