A few of my buddies and I are planning on going to Hoover for the Tourney but don't feel like buying a book for $108.

For those of you that have attended, how much do single game tickets go far at the ticket office the day of the game?

Thanks Kirk.

Tough crowd tonight on the Rant.

Is there a limit on how many tickets books you can buy? Meaning..if LSU were to make it to the championship game *knocks on wood* would I be able to buy tickets for each game leading up to it and even the championship game? Or am I only allowed to buy a $10 book and go to only 2 games?

I'm not sure how the books work. But I went last year and just walked up and bought tickets for the Saturday and Sunday games. That's the way to do it. There are always tickets. Don't buy the book, just buy them when you get there.

This will be my 5th or 6th year going and I've never had a problem walking up and buying tickets. I think they clear the stadium after every game but I know a couple of times I've been there they were running behind and didn't do it. But definitely buy general admission and not reserved as you'll want to move around depending on time of day due to sun.

check the secsports.com for the complete details as I may leave something out.

There is something called the Dr Pepper 6 pack. That is 6 tickets for $60 dollars in general admission.(General Admission is the way to go) The 6 pack is 6 tickets that can be used for 6 different sessions(2 a day) or 6 tickets that can be used for 1 session for 6 people. It doesnt matter how you use them. So what we usually do is to get a few 6 packs among our group of 15-20 that go to the tourney.

Also, once teams start to get eliminated, those teams fans usually give their tickets away for the remaining games that they dont stay for. By the end of the tournament we usually end up with more tickets than we need.

The 6 packs I think can be bought up until the Saturday BEFORE the tournament starts.

TygerNga is correct-the reserved seats are in the sun and the general admission seats down the 1st base line are in the shade for all games.

The only time getting a ticket will be a problem is if Auburn or Alabama is in the championship game.
