please share with us how we did not land on the moon, martians took out JFK from the grassy nole and how it's a conspiracy that ESPN hates LSU
It's not a hidden agenda he's even talked about it before, not a conspiracy at all. He clearly stated before that he thought this needed to be addressed. I'm not a conspiracy theorist or anything. I promise you that this wouldn't have happened under a different administration.

All kinds of things get assigned to subcommittee. Most things never make it out. Talk to me if this thing makes it to the floor for a vote.

He only talked about it during a one on one interview because he was ASKED a question during that time. If he had a hand in it going to congress it'll be all over the news, especially ESPN. I mean ESPN talked about his NCAA brackets A LOT don't you think if OBAMA had a hand in some BCS b.s. ESPN would be all over it.

Would you like to make a wager about that??

Congress?
Too bad there's not an office within the executive branch that's specifically dedicated to antitrust law, so that Congress could do its job instead of worrying about this.

First of all, you ignorant fools who are complaining about what congress is doing, do you guys really think that congress sits around all day saying to themselves "Hey, you know what, we need to talk about fixing the economy. Forget all this other stuff that people bring up, like railroads, our parks, and African Affairs. The Economy should be our only focus" Uh, no they don't. Talking about "aw geez... they could be spending their time better elsewhere." WTF-ever.
They have sub-committees on all sorts of stuff. Here, I got a LINK for you of the list of ALL the subcommittees in government. It's not like they bring a bill on this subject in front of the full house and senate and debate this crap for days and days.
They sent it to the trade committee because it's an Anti-Trust case against the BCS. They at least LOOK at all anti-trust cases brought before them. This one just happens to be a high-profile case, and involves college football.
When it comes down to brass tacks, it's about money, and that's what the BCS was created for: to make money.
It was right for the Utah congressman to bring the anti-trust case against the BCS. The claim is very valid that it prevents smaller schools in lesser conferences to win the FBNC. Do you really think that in the BCS, ULL could have a miracle season, win every game and go to the NC? No way in hell. But in a playoff system, ULL could smoke each team they face and win the NC.
Smaller schools like Boise State, Utah, and BYU have to have near-consistently undefeated seasons to be considered possible. After having two undefeated seasons, winning two BCS bowl games, FINALLY Boise State is in the top 10 this year. So, what? they have to have two flawless seasons to be considered? No, that's not fair.
