Sure, right up to the point when Chad Jones declares his intentions to leave early. Jones is as much of a physical beast as T. Mays, but much more athletic and thus a better comparison to Ronnie Lott.
Uh, okay.

I doubt Jacob Cutrera gets drafted

SI looks like it only lists seniors without projecting who might leave early.
The second link only has seniors. SI has Juniors.

Jones - 6'3'' 222 lbs (per LSU baseball roster)
Mays - 6'3'' 230 lbs (per USC football roster)
Thus, almost physically indentical. I admittedly don't know what Mays runs in the 40, but Jones is a 4.3-4 guy. And i don't recall seeing Mays return punts for SC, nor do i recall him playing right field and pitching for their baseball team, all of which Jones does. In sum, Jones owns Mays and will be the first safety off the board if he comes out early.

Both are supposed to be 4.35 guys.

You like to say FEAR DA HAT don't you?

Thought so.

Didn't McShay and Kiper pick Al Woods a top 5 pick a year ago trying to project this past draft? There's your credibility right there.

Why would anyone draft Tebow that high? Retarded.

Matt Jones was a first round pick. There's winners and losers in every sport my friend.

Honestly, Mays and Chad Jones are very similar. Both were huge recruits due to their athletic potential, and both have shown flashes of brilliance.
However, neither of them seem to have the same level of intuition for the game as Eric Berry or even a guy like Chris Culliver. I think both Jones and Mays will do great in workouts and get picked in the first round, but they might not reach expectations in the NFL.
FWIW, Mays had 53 tackles and no interceptions last year and Chad had 50 tackles and 1 interception.

Matt Jones was also one of best combine guys ever. Tebow won't do so well at that.

Mays played behind a much better LB group too, which limits his tackle numbers.
Both are good against the run, questionable cover SS guys.

Saints pick 19 no playoffs again

Mays is going to put up some Mike Mamula level numbers at the combine next year. He is a smart guy and a physical freak. If the Raiders have the first pick, I can definitely see Al Davis picking him
Note: I am not in any way implying that Mays will be a bust. However, his value could be greatly inflated based on his production at the college level.

I see the following:
Lafell- top 10
Black- top 15
Alem- 1st round-early 2nd (i think he'll have a ton of sacks this season)
Scott/Williams- 1st or 2nd (This ones tough, i really think KW has the NFL build, but no playing time hurts him pretty bad. Scott has a pretty good pro resume', but time will tell.)
All in all, I think you will see 3-4 tigers taken in the first round on draft day.

Eric Berry is the best S in next year's draft though

These are pretty reasonable, but I think its a stretch to see either RB in the first.

i dont think the Raiders will be drafting in the #2 spot. 7-8wins IMO FWIW.

speaking of the raiders, i doubt al davis drafts a player from a lane kiffin team next year. No matter the talent.

Absolutely. I think he is the most obvious "can't miss" prospect since Calvin Johnson.
I think that LaFell will be no worse than the 4th best receiver in next year's class (Benn, Bryant, Damian Williams), so he should be a first rounder for sure. There were six in this year's draft, and Kenny Britt was definitely not an amazing prospect. I wonder if LaFell could have been a first rounder this year as well.
