Worst Saints loss ever...62 - 7 to Atlanta, Opening Day 1973, 55 points.
Tonight, 121 - 63, 58 points.
Tryiog to remember if any early Jazz losses were this bad. They had some nightmares, no doubt.

Didn't we return the opening kickoff for a TD in that game?

You may be thinking of the Saints' first Opening Day ever, in 1967. John Gilliam ran the opening kickoff back 94 yards for a TD against the LA Rams. That one ended up a respectable 27 - 13 loss.

Mean - but true.
Seriously, I called this series Denver in 5 before it started - but I sure didn't expect the Hornets to get assraped like this. Both games in Denver were horrible, tonight was beyond description and even in their lone win, they came out looking pathetic and nearly blew a double digit lead in the last 3 minutes.
You can only hope that they find some pride to play for in Game 5, otherwise tonight's could be a prelude to something nearly as bad, hard as that seems to believe.
ETA: A footnote on that 62 - 7 Saints game. I was actually at that game and it was scoreless after the first quarter.

The suckiest suck that ever did indeed suck.

I specifically remember the Packers skullfricking the Saints in GB 52-3 a few years ago. What's terrible about that is that GB was HORRIBLE that year. That was the bright spot of the year for me.

The Saints actually scored first in that game
We got some payback the next year and on MNF last season though
