Pitching machine for 8 y.o.

yea hit up the OT but we had a traveling select team that one two state championships and we used the same JUGS soft toss machine for all 3 years. one of the best buys our team ever made. there barely any pick up because you just hit the balls into the big net. thats what i would get for my son

Juggs is the best. If he plans on using it for a while get the dual wheel that can throw curves and such for when he gets older. A little pricy but worth the money in the long run.

We have a juggs two wheel one now (can throw up to around 100....not that my kid could hit it) but when he was 7 and 8 they used the spring arm ones that go for about $140, can't remember the brand but I think Louisville Slugger has since purchased the company. The spring arm portable one is plenty good enough for a young kid and easy on the wallet. If the kid is pretty good and stays with baseball move up to the juggs machine. My son is 13 and rathers when I pitch live from about 25 feet than using the machine. We still use it to see the curves, my arm can't handle throwing those.

Keep using a tee no matter what the age to keep his swing in tune.
