That 3 seed is looking pretty sweet for the Rockets right about now.

Pretty much. The Spurs were their only real competition.

Man I really hate to hear this. Ginobili is one of my favorite players, and people in the NBA. His tough nosed defense and wilingness to draw a charge really makes watching a Rockets-Spurs game fun.

And they are saying Bynum could be back as soon as this week. That would be a huge boost to the Lakers.

SAS was already looking depleted, this is devastating, Rockets probably end up with the division and the 3 seed.

the spurs are ripe for a first round upset IMHO. duncan has been playing like shite lately. he's old and his knees are bothering him and you can tell that pop hasn't been able to rest him as much as he usually does this season. roger mason has come back down to earth also. for awhile he was leading the NBA in 3% and now he's not even in the top 15. they'll basically have to rely on tony parker to carry them

I guarantee Stewart uses this to get out of his permanent self-ban bet with me if the Hornets beat the Spurs in the playoffs.

The Hornets need to get the 6 or 7 seed so they can play either the Nuggets or the Spurs. That would be fine for them.
