Add some fresh ground coffee to your steak or rib rub.

Lambert's BBQ in Austin has a brown sugar/coffee rubbed brisket that is good, different, but good.

i have been putting espresso powder in my rib rub for quite some time - give it a try; like he said - it doesnt take much maybe a tsp
