As kids we had a cool little box called a television that allowed you to not only listen to games but watch them...from all over the country.

I listened to the Astros games on AM and even some StL games that came thru when the weather was right. I had a small radio with a earphone, one of those hard plastic ones that stuck in your ear.

that's what makes WWL so great for LSU fans in the SE. Tennessee,Georgia and Kentucky also have clear channel AM stations that do their games,too.

Cards on KMOX and the Stros on something, can't remember but sure it was AM

my dad grew up in Arkansas and grew up listening to Harry Carry on KMOX. He is 77 and is still a diehard Cards fan.
Best part of being in Branson with the grandkids for him was getting to watch the Cards on the local Fox Sports channel there live and the replys the next day.
