If you dont think that in at least 5% of the time the drunk kids will not respond nicely you are not living in reality. Why is that concept so difficult for you? They should just be able to show up at the game and sit in the seats they pay alot of money for that they chose for themselves.

To start, I'd imagine that the 70 year old couple has been going to games for a good 20 years, at least. They are fully aware of the policy. I'm certain that if the game was fully sold out and all seats were taken, they would ask a marshal to remove said people.

These people probably have more important things to worry about than sitting 5 seats away from their season ticket location, which is why they don't ask them to move.

I've been going to games (20+ a season) as a student for 5 years now. I've been drunk, been with drunk friends, been sober and seen drunk students and not ONCE have I seen them get into a verbal incident with a season ticket holder over SRO tickets.

Students at Baseball games =/= students at Football games.
