I love this team think coach is doing great but here were a few ideas I had while watching the game. love to hear your input or changes u would like to see.
Move Jared Mitchell to leadoff. he is currently batting 455 with a OBP of 571 and is 9-9 on steals. Plus I think Leon , if he continues on his track could be used later in the lineup to drive in runs.
Put Hanover in permannently over Helenihi
Louis Coleman needs to start on Sundays if he sees no action on fridays and saturdays

I'm gonna' go with Coach Maineri's ideas. At least until the team loses one game...

thing about colman is that he WILL see action onf fri/sat during SEC play. we won't beat everyone by 10+ runs.
alsoif the lineup ant broke, then don't try to fix it.
I agree about hanover @ 3rd, but let him get SEC experience. Thsi may be a mid-SEC move

Like I said I am not a coach and I am not being critcal just some ideas I had, i think coach is doing great but its hard to understand where he is coming from. Sometimes I know he isn't neccessarily playing the best guy all the time, but trying to get some guys experience

The dude just offered his suggestions on improvement. Didn't look like a criticism. Everyone has their own opinions.

not to be a dick, but I think its way to early in the season to start making suggestions.
its best to play as many as possible to see where everyone's strengths and weaknesses are at.

slow down. this is baseball. law of averages applies, the guys you like will have slumps, and the guys you dont like will get hot. give the coach time to play with the order, positions, and pitchers.
as far as coleman on sunday if he is not used on fri, or sat......that was done with bradford. they will have identical roles.

Yeah, when you're this good, you can afford to dick around against the easier part of the schedule.

I think it is too early to make adjustments like that. They are just starting to swing bats and you do not make a move this early and get in these kids heads. Give them until SEC play as long as you are winning before jolting the lineup.

I don't have a problem with us fans having opinions about the personnel decisions that Mainieri is making, but it is way too early to say that a particular player is not going to be successful this season. This is baseball and guys are going to have slumps. Lets wait another couple of weeks before we call for someone to be replaced in the lineup. I'm not saying that it won't happen, just saying that it is still too early to make these decisions. Everyone remember that Matt Clark absolutely sucked at this point in the season last year.

I believe that J-Mitch was in the leadoff spot Saturday, with LL batting 3rd. Imo, Maineri will eventually make that the permanent order.
Heleihi will have to fend off Hanover (and maybe Nola?) in order to keep his starting job. He is a decent player, but he suffers by comparison.....ie....the other guys are flat-out studs.
I'd keep Coleman in the bullpen. That way, he could possibly impact 2 games during the weekend...if not all 3. Besides, it's hard to come out of the pen to make a start and go 7 innings. You have to "lengthen" your arm to consistently go 7-8 innings.
I do think that your first two suggestions will come to pass, though.
