Feels like the beat writers continue to get worse.
Gildo always sucked and writes hit pieces. But koki sucks now also.

I think most of the local lsu media is on a decline lately.

The fact that Eads and Doucet are our best "beat writers" is a shame because they are news anchors. Not a shot against them, they do great work. It just shows how down and out written publications are.
Shea does a good job too but he's behind a paywall.
That 2019 beat was something else. Wish we had that crew back on all fronts. Writing and podcasting.
