Same old thing, 2 out hits, the final being a ground ball to where a standard

2nd baseman should be playing. That out of position just cost LSU two runs and most likely the ball game. I am really tired of watching this happen every freakin game. Play baseball like it has been played for decades....successfully.

The 2B doesn’t play behind there with no one on first unless it’s a shift bud.

I don't know what you are talking about. That two run single was a basic ground ball directly where a 2nd baseman would be playing without the lousy shift. That shift cost LSU two runs and probably the ball game.

It was hit just to the right of the mound. The 2B was playing straight up and deep.

You seem confused.
