Played last weekend. Course in very good shape.

Greens are fast as I have ever seen them. I had a ball on hole three 10’ onto the green roll off the front. I pulled a Haotong Lee and putted off the back of the green into the woods/hazard on 11.

If they can use range finders tell him take 10 yards off the number on every approach shot.
Putting, give it more break and less speed especially if above the hole.

Check yardages on 5, DO NOT go over that green.
Take enough club on 8 and 12.
Avoid left on 13, second shot may be best to lay up to give a good angle to the pin.
15-17 play it down left side. 17 take enough club on approach shot.
18 I play it to land long and down the middle. Even right is okay. Second shot the miss is to the right.

Played it last Thursday. Worst I have seen it. It’s still fine and greens still roll great. But it wasn’t the Carter standard. Especially for what they charge there.
greens are firm as heck and were the fastest I ever seen them.
And no grass around greens.
We played it down and had horrible lies the entire day.
Hard pan everywhere. Just no grass.
Hope they let them bump it. Or going to be some crazy high scores. Just impossible to chip on those hard greens with no grass

They can improve lie 1 club length no closer to hole. And they can use range finders.

That helps big Time.
Missing long is a killer on almost all of carters greens.
Miss short if anything.
Lot of OB as well but from higher tees. Shouldn’t be an issue.
Good luck!

You don't want to play 17 down the left. You're intentionally making the hole longer and bringing the fairway bunker in play.

3 wood down the middle/right hand side sets you up perfectly.

Played it on Monday and this is spot on. Greens are as fast as I can remember out there and hard as a rock. For example, I was 89 yards out on #11. Hit a full, high 56 wedge that bounced a foot or so short of the hole. It rolled out to about 15 ft....

Fairways have absolutely no grass. They are dry, patchy, and just not in very good shape.
