How to hold fraudsters accountable

I was shocked when our treasury secretary said they don’t go after people who only defrauded the government of $1,500,000 or less. Apparently we don’t have the government resources.
Around minute 6, give or take.
2 simple solutions:
1. Let cops do civil asset forfeiture on these Somalis
2. Let private attorneys sue o/b/o the government and earn a contingency fee

Trump and Vance don’t care about fraud. They say they do, but when push comes to shove, they don’t follow through. DOGE lasted only a few months, and now you have DOGE workers saying the White House actively undermined efforts to cut spending. There was lots of bluster about the fraud in Minnesota, only for ICE and Trump to back down to Walz.

The problem with DOGE is that most of the fraud and abuse, are laws or earmarked by approval which makes it impossible to cut without legislation cutting it. Congress should have their seats hot as f but they get a pass because it’s easy to blame trump.
