Can a Murray and Fears backcourt work?

I dont see Fears as a guy that has to have the ball to get in a rhythm. Murray is a willing catch and shoot guy too. Is having two guys that can create a bad thing?

I'm not. It's about usage. And it's going to be similar to what you saw in Atlanta. You have two high usage guys who are at their best when the ball is in their hands.
That only worked because Atlanta had a lot of low usage off ball guys. We have Trey and Zion who both have high usage as well. Its not going to be a good fit to start those two. You can play them together in some lineups but it's nor going to be a good fit since they don't compliment each other's games.

Nah man. Both are good catch and shoot 3 guys. You can stagger them as well

It could work if Murray ran the offense and played PG with Fears being an undersized SG like CJ was. I actually think it could work and if we attach Herb to get off Poole’s contract this offseason then you could play Trey at the 3 and move Zion back to the 4. To make it work though we would need to find a true starting C that can rebound and protect the rim as well as play defense to compensate for Zion at the 4. Missi is a really good backup 5 and Queen could be the backup to Z. I also think Bey should come off the bench to give Queen another offensive weapon to play off of if you start Murray and Fears.

I believe two of Herb, 3M3, and Zion will not be on the team next year.
