Very good interview.

He raves about Delta Force.

"Those guys were fricking rock stars"

"Greatest assault force on Earth, without question"

What a patriot. Some are just born to live that life. A British Soldier saying he'd die for our flag. Chills

Jay is a badass. He was working with the GBRS guys and they have some great interviews of him on their YouTube channel.

Delta guys are another level.
The only one I know personally is Jim Smith, he was the Delta guy in the first helicopter that went down in Mogadishu in “93. He got shot and hurt pretty bad, defended the crash site until the Rangers got to them and then continued the fight into the next day until they all got to safety (Silver Star and Purple Heart). He was medically retired from his injuries, but Delta kept him as a civilian trainer until 9-11. Post 9-11 he became THE firearms and aircraft CQB expert for the Air Marshal Service. By 2006 or so, he was setting up his private training operation, Spartan Tactical here in Texas, and became our office’s chief trainer for about 5 years. With Spartan, he would spend about 1/3 of the year training up Reserve units going to the Middle East, 1/3 training special ops guys at Ft. Bragg and 1/3 hunting grizzly Bears and windigos in Alaska.
He is the most chill dude you’ll ever meet, doesn’t need the pumped up ego and bravado like several of the other special ops veterans I know. Hand him your duty weapon and he would put 5 rounds in to a quarter sized bullseye in 3 seconds from 15 yards, hand it back to you and say “yea, the sight are good, work on your trigger pull”.

My Dad met with them a few times while in the Army. Pretty sure he has a challenge coin. He had a picture made with them in West Virginia, one of those pictures where my dad and one other guy's face are not blacked out

He would go on how bad arse they were and that was back in the 90s.
