Did the lake ever come back. Visiting family this weekend and debating pulling the boat down for a day?

Well that is a big pot hole. Pretty easy to scan in a day. Are they on the piles?

Hell yeah, bring the boat because they’re on the piles. 5” watermelon red flake senko will get you a limit quick especially if you’re equipped with livescope. If you’re beating the docks, any olive drab crawfish colored crank bait works right now.

No,
He is referring to the threads where a guy will drop a cinderblock crimmus tree and claim that 64 square feet area of the lake as his and you best not be caught fishin it or he will 'meck a 'zample outta you breh'.

It's akin to a 308 vs 6.5 creed thread that goes off the rails within two pages.

My plan was actually to crank my arse off on docks. Maybe throw in a jerk bait. Of that doesn’t work, spend time scanning. I don’t mess with plastics. Have zero desire to catch small fish.

If nothing else, use the boat to go water skiing, bar hopping, or tubing

Hell, the good ones are on the piles using plastics. If you want to throw and reel for good bass, bring some big spinnerbaits with big trailers and some luck.

No reason to switch from tried and true 308 to the cripplemore

Update since last night:
Drop a 424 red bug senko at the brush piles between 9pm an 1am, especially at Chuck’s piles.
