A friend went yesterday.

After she got back, she said the main golf shop was closed until noon for patrons to enjoy golf.

I like it.

Today is drive chip and putt.

I assume they will not open store until competition is completed.

It was sad when I went 2 years ago that so many patrons literally did not watch a single kid hit a single drive, chip, or putt.

Hats off the ANGC for making changes to emphasize the accomplishment of the ANWA golfers and the DCP finalists rather than gift shop eBay resellers.

I was there yesterday and this is not true. We got in the merch line at 7 and waited about an hour and a half. It was an insane experience

They close the merchandise shop waiting line when the line becomes too long. All in line continue to move forward. When the line recedes, they open it again.

I was not there.
Just reporting what I was told.

It sounds like the line got too long so they closed it for awhile.
