The Buffalo Sabres have ended their 14 year playoff drought!

The second oldest playoff drought in US sports is now officially over. On December 9, buffalo was in last place. They fired the GM, and ever since have played the best stretch of hockey over that time frame since the 1995 Red Wings.
On to the Stanley cup playoffs!

They were so fun to watch in the late 90s with Hasek, had a resurgence in late 00s with Ryan Miller but have been dogshit since
Great young core of players and very fun to watch
Nobody knows how they'll do in the playoffs but I'll be rooting for them in the East

Most are locked up through 2030 as well. Will be interesting to see if they decide to pay Tuch. Definitely need to get tougher in the offseason as well, but the future is looking bright!

Im pretty stoked.
One of the Rec baseball teams I coach as manager they put numbers on our jerseys.
Mine is #39.
We found a company that can make custom jerseys and hats to match.
I think next year we'll be the Sabres.
