We all talk about Paul Skenes pitching for the Pirates. I’m afraid we’ve lost sight (collectively) of which LSU Pirates pitcher started it all.

I was at LSU at the same time as him, and knew him. One time I complimented him on his shirt. It was a really nice polo. A few days later I ran into him again, and he says "hey man I have something for you," and he pulls out a Dillard's bag. He went and bought me the same shirt he had on a few days prior. Shane Youman was the guy who would literally give you the shirt off his back.
