I know there is a lot of hype right now around Basketball. Rightfully so! I Will Wade for you!
But I did want to take a look at a few special players this year for the LSU Fighting Football Tigers!
1st Rounder all but guaranteed:
Jordan Seaton (projected as top 3 LT)
With a good year high potential first rounders:
Trey’Dez (just needs to prove it. Dude is a freak)
Prince U (could be a top 3-5 pass rusher in the draft)
Ty Benefield (A lot of Hype right now)
Sam Leavitt (heavy QB class projected)
Outside shot to high day 2:
Whoever ends up as the best WR (WR from LSU not much else needs to be said)
Whit Weeks (would need to stay healthy and take a step)
Longshots if they take big steps:
Dottery (not likely but he does make a ton of tackles)
Spears (dude is freak and could prove it)
Bah (maybe if the best guard)
Woodland (would need a huge leap)
Maybe a second WR
Feels like it has been a while since we’ve had this many potential 1st rounders especially at different positions.
2026: Delane
2025: Campbell
2024: 3(Jayden, Malik, BTJ)
2023:0
2022:1 (Sting)
2021:1 (Ja’Marr didn’t even play)
2020: goats

I think he makes that leap IMO.

Ty Benefield (A lot of Hype right now)

You are reaching really hard for those WRs. None of them sniffing the 1st round, or maybe even 2nd.

Don’t think it’s a reach at all. I said outside shot. Would obviously require one heck of a year.

Man, I get it, but can we just at least get a few games in ‘26 first? After football last year and the start of baseball season, I’m holding out of getting too far ahead until games are played.
Have fun though.

I agree. But this is just a projection and glimpse into the talent we have now vs last year and under BK
