This is what we needed. I would have loved to see Evans have better command of his fastball Friday but this is the best weekend series we have had as far as pitching, hitting and fielding against decent competition this year. Bats looked much better, fielding as well. Still haven't put a full weekend together on the mound but we have some guys stepping up. Cowan and Rizy look like they might be starting to become reliable bullpen arms, I would like to see 3-4 reliable innings a weekend from the left side as well.
Coach getting Serna, Dardar and Peterson work is paying off and I am confident will pay off for York as well.
Serna had a solid weekend behind the plate, moving much better and making a couple of great throws. Still a ways to go but much better than he has been. These guys need work and they are getting it and hopefully it will continue to pay off.
Any News on Moore?

A 2-3 win in this league is solid but the retarded fan base will still melt down about something.

Most of the guys posting on TD baseball post have a very low baseball IQ. Most give up on the Tigers every year than say, Well its about time... They just don't get it.

They are improving overall as a team.
Got better play at second and catcher this weekend. Bats are hitting better too.
Losing Moore hurts.
We’ll see how we stack up at the end of conference play. Hopefully we can continue improving each week.

Serna still dropped several balls, and he should have never thrown that ball to 2nd, after double clutching it, on Friday night.

100%. I’m not even sure most can be considered low IQ I just don’t know another term worse than that!

The idea we are teaching kids to defend on one knee is insane. You simply cannot be in positive positions with runners on or with two strikes. It’s a horrible trend to teach and allow catchers on a knee.
