We just aren’t really good at anything

Not great at hitting, defending or pitching. Unfortunately, that never bodes well.
We’ll flash at times but simply won’t win a whole bunch.
In years past there was always one part of the game we could hang our hat on. Play a defensive game or play a high scoring game. We can’t really do any of that this year. SMH

I wish we had Pawl’s defense for this year’s squad. Say what you want, but CPM would not have let half these runs score.

That's been the biggest change for me. Outside of last year we've been average at absolute best fielding under Jay. I always kinda blew off being "the best defensive team" but it's one of those things you don't notice until it's bad.
