I agree with him here. I think Israel wants a drawn out war.

I don't really care about all of the drama surrounding the guy, but thought I would bring it over to show he doesn't just shite on Trump. He actually speaks highly of him.

He is probably correct here. My thoughts are Trump wants an off ramp and the Israelis might be the x factor that screws that up for him.

And I feel like if the Israelis try to keep him trapped there somehow he will simply tell them to go frick themselves and he may even go so far as to remove our presence entirely from the Middle East which would, over the long run, be devastating to Israel.

Kent seems like a smart guy and him resigning was bold. I don’t think he’s a traitor. I think he just sees a lack of strategic foresight in the executive right now and he didn’t want to be a part of it. Definitely weighed on his conscience.

I've been waiting for him to pivot and walk away from this almost since it began. But I became firm that this is what needs to happen, imo, when that frickin warmonger Graham got up there and started calling for an Iwo Jima moment on Kharg Island.
