Haven't flown since 2019....question about upcoming trip in May

The 1st checked bag fee would be $80 rountrip total added to posted fare? (hoping its included)

Correct and on United you do not get a carry-on unless you purchase a regular economy fare

Do yourself a favor and join their Mileage Plus program. Get the explorer credit card and never have to worry about paying for a checked bag again.

Not a terrible idea but there’s $150 annual fee. Might not make much sense for someone who doesn’t fly all that often. Especially if you’re airline shopping.
