Optics for S&W Response

On a whim I ordered one of these from basspro. Looks like fun but I’ve never shot a carbine. What optics do y’all recommend? I’m not hunting or shooting distance. Eventually I’ll put a suppressor on it. Would simple flip up sites be a dumb idea? Or is there a specific dot that would’ve good? The ones in pictures all have dots.

I would put a prism sight, but I have an atigmatism. The PA ones are great and light

i have a Aero in 9mm. I think I just have a Holosun red dot (maybe green dot) on mine. Been a while since I've shot it.
