Didn't they bad-mouth fuel, in favor of the windmills?

They all need to sort and recycle more. That will be the solution of course - while allowing Mooselimbs to take over. Brilliant strategy!

I think that’s why they are not to upset about the gas prices being so high. They went radically green years ago. The higher the worldwide gas prices the less people drive. Which is exactly what they want.

A refinery in France is being expanded as I type.

A refinery previously owned by Exxon is being expanded in France.

Oh, but why? Throw a few solar panels around, problem solved.

The refinery was more geared to provide feedstock for the Exxon Chemicals plant adjacent NGL's from wet gas production in the US made it much cheaper to make the chemicals here in the US and ship to France. Naphtha can be isomerized to blend into gasoline and give it an octane boost. It was being used to make petrochemicals there. A Louisiana company is doing the engineering for the refinery now owned by a Canadian refiner.
Europe outsourced much of its crude oil refining to Russia so they could claim being "green" and shite. They have had to import gasoline and diesel from India and China ever increasing since 2022

So... enrich China, impoverish your own citizens, become energy- dependent, and kill whales with the windmills.
Sounds like a winner.

That 160,000 bpd refinery announced for Brownsville will be for exports and why an Indian oil company is behind it.
