In all 3 major sports?

The closest I can remember is maybe the 2020-2021 years. The 2020 LSU baseball team would’ve probably been as bad or worse than this years team had it not got its season canceled early due to covid. The 2020 football team was rotten arse. The 2020-21 LSU basketball team did at least go 19-10 and 11-6 in conference so that wasn’t bad. The 2021 baseball team finished with a losing SEC record and around 25 losses.

Given the money spent it’s the most disappointing academic year in history.
2025-26.
When girls basketball and gymnastics are only things worth anything, and you’ve invested what LSU invested…complete failure

2024
Basketball team finished 15th in the SEC. Football and baseball finished 4th in the West. Baseball just happened to get hot in May and flirted with an upset in the regionals. But that team started 3-12 in the SEC and had to make a run the last 3 weeks and in the SECT just to make the NCAAT

Not that long ago. At least football, the only sport I care about, looks to have an upside coming soon.
