i played it this weekend. it's been a while since i played it. i thought i would suck but i was getting 30+ kills to 10-15 deaths most of the time. i think the guns are waaaay better on cod4

It seems all the "guns are better on cod4" people also talk about how much better at cod4 they are than W@W.

it's not like i suck at w.a.w or anything but it's funny you say that becuase the first night i played it, i came into a game and was like 21-8. i thought to myself "damn these guy's must suck". i average around 25+ kills to 15+ deaths on w.a.w. though. my best game was 57-14 on dome. one thing i have noticed is there are a lot more gold cross players on cod4 than the last time i played it. it seems like 3/4 of the rooms i play in are gold cross.

i guess i'm the exception to the rule. i played waw pretty consistently for a while but went back to cod4 a few weeks ago. better graphics, better guns, more balanced maps (IMO). i am pretty good on waw but get owned on cod4. lots of noobs on waw; lots of veterans on cod4--i guess that accounts for my better w/l record and k/d ration on waw!

Did 25/1 on Asylum over the weekend. By far my best k/d output. I'm usually around the 12 - 13 kills to 9-10 deaths.
My wife recently bought me COD4 from Circuit City closeout and I just finished the campaign. I played a little online but am not familiar with the maps yet, thus I suck. I like the guns better on WaW, probably because I've played more. The campaign on COD4 is way better than WaW though.
