If he keeps it up, maybe, but he would move to Sunday IMO. Schmidt and Moore are very close in their stats, and I feel like Schmidt has been just a little better. I'm not sure about Cowan over Evans, but Schmidt or Moore Friday and the other Saturday would make sense to me.
Here are some of their stats.
Cooper Moore - 2.25 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, 24 IP, 19 hits, 5 walks, 3 HBP, 31 Ks, 6 earned runs.
William Schmidt - 2.46 ERA, 0.82 WHIP, 22 IP, 14 hits, 4 walks, 2 HBP, 33 Ks, 6 earned runs.
Casan Evans - 6.45 ERA, 1.4 WHIP, 22.1 IP, 19 hits, 12 walks, 2 HBP, 35 Ks, 16 earned runs.
Zac Cowan - 7.36 ERA, 2.11 WHIP, 7.1 IP, 13 hits, 2 walks, 0 HBP, 13 Ks, 6 earned runs.

One small little good outing out of about 4 horrible outings so far this year from Cowan and now we already wanting to call for him to be the Saturday starter??? Is this pitching staff hurting this bad?

Yes it is. We really don’t have the starters we thought we did at this point. Evan’s is young, but proved last year he is capable.
Think you rotate and put Evan’s on Sunday’s and have him available Friday or Saturday to finish a game. Think he excelled last year in that role. Evan’s may be simply playing too tight too, give him a lead and he might be a lot better.
