I'm just curious. I am signed up for something called "Informed Delivery" with USPS. Yesterday, I saw where I was going to get a piece of mail from the 2026 census, and I could tell that I was supposed to fill it out and return it.

Well, I didn't get it. I waited until today, but no luck today, either. I know that USPS has a recent history of being somewhat political, and on the Left side of the equation. I live in a conservative area, and it made me wonder if, perhaps, they were withholding that census form on purpose.

I left a message with the White House in case they might want to look into this. But anyway, have any of you received that mail from the 2026 census? (I didn't even know there was going to be a 2026 census, but apparently so).

That's what it said on the envelope, and they said it was to be returned.

That's what I thought, but this said "2026 Census."

Can't say that I have.

Is this the more often collected household survey?

Didn't get that. SCAM

I own a couple of pieces of property up in the woods and I have received several offers (unsolicited) for the properties with offers way over their appraised values. I think AI is increasing the scam offers we see and are getting.

Might be this:

The 2026 American Community Survey (ACS) questionnaires are now available with no updates from 2025, continuing to provide annual social, economic, and housing data, according to Census.gov. Concurrently, the Census Bureau is launching the 2026 Census Test in specific locations (Huntsville, AL; Spartanburg, SC) to prepare for 2030, which will include testing new methods for improved enumeration.

I asked my phone if there was going to be a 2026 census. The answer was "Yes. It's going to be an operational survey to help prepare for the 2030 census."

Probably just USPS being It's usual inefficient self as to why I didn't get it. I don't know.

We haven't gotten any but then when it's voting season, we only receive political ads for dems. "inefficient" or left leaning?

No. It's MIA; probably wherever my 2020 ballot went.
