Charter Recommendations - Slidell/New Orleans East Area

My brother and his family, 4 total. Are coming in mid May and are renting a camp on Lake Pontchartrain. Looking for recommendations for a charter in that area. Other than my brother they are very inexperienced. An easy going and patient captain would be preferred. An enjoyable experience is more important than loading the boat. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Check out Bayou Charters, Cpt Charlie and his gang. They will definitely catch fish and be taken care of.

I had a good experience with Drake Morvant with Victory Bay Charters out of Slidell.

Mike Gallo.

Can’t go wrong with either of the captains mentioned but I’d also put Justin Bowles on your radar. He’s who my family goes with when too many people are in town to fit on my boat

We started using Captain Charlie and his guys when our twins were young years ago. We always had a good trip and the Captains always did an awesome job.
They also have a few camps across the road from their boathouse. When we schedule a charter we always stay in one of their camps. Makes the morning easy walking across the road to get to the boat.
