Bettinardi Putter

I posted back in the first of the year about getting the Scotty Cameron Phantom putter. It shocked me of all the downvotes I received and now I know why. I did not like the Cameron at all. Yesterday I picked up the Bettinardi BB series putter.
Here is to sinking more putts.

I switched from Cameron putters to Bettinardi last year. Got fit at Studio B outside of Chicago and never looked back. If you’re ever close and in the market for a new putter, I highly recommend it. Best fitting experience ever. You watch them build your putter at the end of the fitting and take you to The Hive which has all their limited run and 1 of 1 items.

Welcome to the club lol.
The fact is both Bettinardi and Cameron make great putters. I have a cool dozen of Hive and Tour Dept models that are awesome. The variety of face milling options is what sets them apart for me, as well as the price point. For the price of a standard Circle T, I can have multiple putters that are 1/1 or straight off their Tour Truck. Plus the variety of designs on their headcovers

How many Hive models do you have??

I have 8 Hive models at the moment: four BB0s, two BB8 Tris, one SS3, and one QB9.
Also have four Tour Dept BB0s (my favorite head shape)

If you ever want to sell any of those…I have a guy.

I’m always buying and selling lol. Wife is getting pretty tired of the boxes in the garage

I can relate as I golf Marshall at my local course. I find on an average 75-100 golf balls every time out. I have golf balls running out of my ears and wifey just shakes her head.

The BB8-Tri is my favorite putter. I’ve got a tour dept one that stays in the bag. I’ll get a putter cover or ball marker on the hive every now and then. Have bought 2 putters from there and flipped them after a few years. They make great stuff. I’ve never made it to Chicago though.

Same here man. I’ll make it up to Studio B at some point. I have a Poison Stinger BB8 Tri with Mokume inlay and another Acid Wash Chicago Wiz one. They don’t get much use these days since my BB0 and I are getting along lol

I have a BB1 and I love it but I would like to have a tour or hive model. The Hive models sell for a ton when they drop them.

Although my numbers outweigh it, I personally like the Tour Dept stuff to game because they’re more simplistic and not busy. It’s a tough market these days when it comes to reselling. Most Hive models run $1900-2200 and I see guys daily selling them for huge losses

I don’t buy planning to sell. It has to be something I’d want to show off or game. I’ll sell it down the road then I find something else I like. Always felt like I got my money’s worth. I’ve had the same tour dept putter since 2019. Curious what it would go for these days. But it’s one I may never let go.

Honestly I find the Tour Dept stuff holds value better than the Hive.
Post some pics of it. The good thing since it’s from 2019, is that no COAs were issued for any Tour Dept gear up until the last couple of years. So most of the BB8s and BB0s, there’s no determining factor on its production date due to this

That’s super clean man. I love the dancing Bettinardi cavity stamps. Fit Face & RC are my favorite millings. Perfect feel
