I am fine with this. Once he and Cam didn't extend, I really don't want either of them back. Only was interested if it pushed the dead money out and allowed us to go get a guy like Edwards.

I was a kid during the dome patrol days so can’t say I watched with any kind of a critical eye.
For my money, this is the best all around LB to ever play for the saints. He was alone on the field so much as a LB. I don’t think many teams asked more of a single player than the saints asked of DD. I really wish we could have paired him with another rangy LBer at some point.
Pairing with Kwon Alexander felt like the only time we really tried.
