If you cannot hit pitching at the level of Sacramento State it’s gonna be very difficult to have any kind of success in the SEC. If CJJ is the hitting coach he isn’t doing very well.

CJJ has earned plenty of leeway in that department. Let him figure it out. He didn’t just forget how to coach over night.

Getting a 300lb OL type as your first baseman should have been a red flag.

Goodness gracious are we still doubting Jays ability to coach? LMAO. Guess 2 out of the last 3 national titles isn’t enough. Yes Jay is very involved with the hitting. But it doesn’t matter how good of a coach you are, there is only so much you can do as a coach until it’s strictly on the player to perform and execute. Jay can coach his ever loving arse off but if these kids can’t get out of their own heads then that is the players fault.

Yeah this isn’t on coaching this is the players fault not being able to get out of their own heads and quit watching good pitches go by and swinging at shite pitches
