Can’t leave a 0-2,1-2 pitch over the plate! Never. Plus he doesn’t have an SEC out pitch at all.

Something would have to change at this point.
He can’t get outs. He gets hit hard. And it happens even when he fools hitters pretty often on his changeup.
It’s just not enough. Eventually the batter more often than not will hit the fastball or sit back on the changeup.
That changeup is a great pitch. But, it's not the kind of pitch you want to throw multiple times in an at bat. I'd be interested to see how often he throws it 2+ and 3+ times in the same at bat.
