Boxing baws - have a question

For those who follow boxing at least somewhat closely, would Ryan Garcia have been one of the best if he had focused on his craft instead of being a dbag social media persona?
He’s gotten his a$$ handed to him the last two fights and this match up Barrios might torpedo his career if he loses. I really liked his power and focus when he first came up.
Thoughts?

Best, no. Better and one of the top guys now, probably. Guy seems to completely lack self-confidence/has social anxiety that he overcompensates for with the dbag act (and/or he’s just a dbag).

Agreed I could see that being the case. I believe social media derailed him and he acts like a dbag

Best? Probably too late to know that but certainly top 5 in the 140-154 range. It's such a shame too because boxing so desperately needs someone not named Jake Paul to be a household name. Ryan could have been it. He's good looking, has great charisma, and when focused is a damn good fighter.
Ryan has something you cannot teach, a money punch that can knock most anybody out if he catches them with that blinding fast left hook. Much like Oscar before he discovered fish nets and cocaine.
Perhaps being with his father again as a trainer will keep his mind right and he can somewhat reach his potential. He's been very well behaved leading up to this fight and is in incredible shape. Tonight will tell the tale. Barrios is very beatable but will make Ryan earn it.

He has fast hands but not a great chin and questionable heart.
To answer your question, no.

His chin is good enough. His loss to Tank was on repeated body shots.
His heart is a valid point.

I’m just seeing it as wasted talent which is a sad reality because if he loses again, he’s going to lose his place in the spotlight and it will be a big fall for him.
His power is undeniable though and hope he remains somewhat relevant.

The focused Ryan showed up last night and looked incredible. 147 is his if he stays dedicated to his craft.
Garcia/Haney II HAS to happen.

He whooped Haney’s arse then got beat by Rolly. He would be better if he wasn’t such a head case which social media has assisted with. But he’s extremely talented as seen last night,

Surprised it went to decision but solid win all around. Maybe this W is the fire he needs

I hope Teo was paying attention in between rounds when Garcia's father was actually coaching his fighter on what to do.
"where your power at bro" is not a good approach when your fighter is struggling.
Barrios certainly isn't a world beater but he clearly wasn't prepared for Ryan's speed. The left hook is Ryan's money punch and I don't think he threw it ten times and never landed it cleanly.
A focused Garcia with more than one tool in his belt is a problem for any fighter at 147. There isn't a chance in hell Haney rematches him at 147.
