His recruitment has exploded the last couple of months. Just committed to Oregon. Granddad is former LSU player Richard Brooks. Mom was a D1 BB recruit from Jena. I would love to see him back in BR.

Lane and company are behind on some of these guys because they just started recruiting on the job at LSU 2 months ago.

I’m guessing Lane and company will catch up quick and reel some of these guys back in for LSU before December. They’ll make up the lost ground.

Curious, how do you know that he is Ricky's grandson? Ricky and I were classmates at Crowley High.

Yes in deed. We had our belated 50th class reunion back in 2022, watched the LSU v Bama game on the tv at the Town Club and saw people I hadn't seen in 40 years. Who is your dad?

Rings a bell but I can't readily put a face with the face. Most of the guys from that class I knew well were jocks. Did he play basketball by chance?
