3 time World Series Champ w/o really ever playing except for base running when rosters changed in September. He was very lucky as far as that but not lucky today. Macon Ga, played at Gulf Coast in Panama City & made a heck of a run. Bless him & his family.

Not only did he win three World Series rings, but by all accounts he was one of the nicest human beings you could meet. This is very tragic news.

I wonder what kind of medical procedure he was having. That tragic, we was in his mid 30’s. RIP

I assume blood clot. It’s extremely rare after routine surgery but people can develop blood clots and die
