These are some thoughts because im stoned:

There’s something a bit poetic about Kiffin and LSU, for both sides. For Kiffin, it’s his return to the big stage. After USC and his drinking issues things took a turn for the worse; he coached great offenses under Saban at Bama, did great at FAU, led a historic run at Ole Miss, building himself back up one spot at a time before taking on LSU, his best college job yet.

For LSU it’s a chance to realign itself at the top of the SEC. Kelly didn’t work out, but the dominoes all fell in place quickly. Saban’s advice to Kiffin makes him appear as the prodigal son, here to continue Saban’s legacy (I’ve ever noticed some of his mannerisms and coaching attitude seem more Sabanlike).

That’s it, I’ve said my piece. Gonna rip the bog.
