I watch music content on YouTube from time to time. In an interview with Devo's Mark Mothersbaugh, he told a story about the song "Uncontrollable Urge." Turns out, it was kind of a take on "She Loves You" and "I Want to Hold Your Hand." I would have never known that without the interview.

Cool story: Devo played in New York. After the show, John Lennon walked up to him and said, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah-yeah, yeah." Then, turned around and left. Mark Knew he'd been had, and that the opening chords were a direct ripoff of She Loves You. I find song origins fascinating.

You can check it out for yourself if you don't know the Devo song. Once you hear it, you can't unhear it. Uncontrollable Urge

The only thing I hear is how much Devo sucks.

You can find some songs that are beyond sucking. But there are so many others that stand apart from anything else and are pretty satisfying.
