Why do IA, NH and SC almost caucus first?

I feel like this should be changed. Either on a rotation or with states that at least have a population more similar to the rest of the USA. Is there any good reason these states should always influence the rest of the nation on the presidential candidates?

It's state law in IA and NH.

I thought the democrats were gong to change their schedule. They want to go to a big blue state to insure a socialist wins.
