I loved Jose and anyone who could match Greg Cook elbow for elbow is a true man!!!!!! The Cookieman (RIP) was the baddest man ever to play at LSU. Nobody and I mean nobody dunked on the Cookieman. I remember the 79 SEC tournament Kentucky was running out the clock at end of first half. Dwight Anderson took off down the lane and cocked back to try a one handed dunk. He was met by Cook and Tree Green and ended up with a broken wrist!!!! Nuff said

Lionel Green and Al Green! They are part of my first memories of Dale ball. Cook, Macklin, Scales, Martin same era. Al Green could throw down. The Assembly Center was always rocking.

Oh, I loved the uniforms too. The stars on the shorts. Script letters. I vote for retro look for a few games. Todays uniforms are alright, but lack flair. Not a fan of Geaux Font.
