They have been so bad since he returned full time. They were actually really fun to watch while he was out, but he's so bad now.
He contributes nothing other than the occasional flurry of points. A few possessions tonight he held the ball late in the shot clock and hit the side of the backboard on a three.
I don't want to take away from what He's able to still do at his age because it's impressive. But at some point he has to admit it's time because he's a detriment to the Lakers.
But knowing what we know, I'm sure it'll be JJ Redick's fault

He's the best 40 plus year old player ever, but there ain't a whole lot of those in NBA history - so take that for what it is.
I don't think he was ever a particularly good defender, yes he got shine for running up from behind and blocking fast break layups but as a stay in front of your guy defender I always saw him as lacking, and now at his age it's really a liability and though he can still score at times not sure what he brings offensively now is enough to justify the liabilities defensively.
