Some sounds are difficult for people. English has "teeth" sounds like "th" which some foreigners have trouble with. Some African languages have "clicks" Americans have trouble making. Chinese depends on tone as much as pronunciation.

It isn't hard...it's a choice that they make.
The same with credit/debit. They never say debick...but credick...yeah.
