The blown ineligible receiver call

Lit the fuse on this entire mess. Entire momentum killer that resulted in at least a 10 point swing.
That is unacceptable

Momentum is a bigger thing than most people think.
LSU had all the defensive momentum and the first Houston TD drive started with a tfl negated by a “lined up offsides call”
That started any Houston momentum.
Then as LSU battled back Houston got calls that kept drives alive. More importantly if you look at the stat sheet, the officials have basically said that Houston played an almost PERFECT game. They have not ever been penalized in a situation that negated their momentum.
Truth is it felt like LSU was balancing things out until that PHANTOM call.
